Booking Conditions of E4GG Travel (Events4GreaterGood Travel Pty Ltd)
IMPORTANT: Your E4GG Travel booking is a legally binding contract and is subject to these booking conditions. You should read them carefully.
PLEASE NOTE: E4GG Travel is a travel agent and our primary obligation is to arrange your travel itinerary with travel operators and suppliers using reasonable care and skill. Subject to using reasonable care and skill in selecting your travel operators and suppliers, we cannot control the financial stability of those suppliers and operators. You should take out comprehensive travel insurance including insolvency cover.
Definitions
In this contract:
“the client” or “you/your” refers to the lead-named person on the confirmation invoice (who must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking) and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made.
“we/us/our/E4GG Travel” refers to Events4GreaterGood Travel Pty Ltd trading as E4GG Travel ACN [INSERT ACN].
“Land Arrangements” refer to all land accommodation, transfers, tours, included meals and any other land-based arrangements made by us on the client’s behalf.
“Cruise Arrangements” refers to the actual cruise itself and all cruise-associated tours, shore excursions and related activities.
1. Booking Procedure
1.1 The booking contract between you and us comes into existence when:
The final quoted itinerary and confirmation invoice showing the final quotation price is sent by us;
You confirm your booking by paying the deposit stated in that invoice within the stated time; and
We accept your booking in writing.
1.2 If you make a booking on behalf of others, you confirm you have their authority and accept responsibility for their compliance with these terms.
1.3 If we cannot accept your booking, we will offer alternatives or refund all payments.
2. Deposit Payment
2.1 To confirm a booking, you must:
- Pay the deposit;
- Accept these terms and conditions;
- Provide accurate passenger and passport details.
Standard deposits are:
- 100% of flights
- 30% of land/cruise arrangements
Additional deposits may apply and will be advised at booking.
2.2 A booking is only accepted once confirmed in writing.
3. Pricing
3.1 Final quoted prices are valid for 3 days.
3.2 Flight prices and currencies fluctuate and are only guaranteed when paid.
3.3 Price adjustments may occur due to:
- Currency fluctuations
- Fuel surcharges
- Government taxes
- Operator cost increases
- National park and attraction fee increases
You agree to pay these adjustments.
4. Payment Due Dates
4.1 Full payment is usually due 95 days before departure, or 125 days for some expedition cruises.
4.2 Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of all payments.
4.3 Bookings made inside the balance due period require immediate full payment.
5. Passenger Details
5.1 You must ensure all details are correct. Correction costs may apply.
5.2 We are not responsible for services booked independently outside E4GG Travel.
6. Documentation
Travel documents will be provided electronically or by post once confirmed.
7. Refunds of Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable once accepted, but may be transferable at our discretion to another E4GG Travel booking.
8. Cancellations by You
Cancellation fees apply:
- Before final payment: loss of deposit
- After final payment: 100% cancellation fee
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
9. Changes by You
Changes may incur fees and price adjustments.
10. Cancellation by E4GG Travel or Suppliers
We may cancel or modify bookings due to:
- Supplier cancellations
- Operational requirements
- Force major events
Refunds or credits may apply depending on supplier terms.
We are not liable for supplier insolvency.
11. Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided as close as possible to quoted standards but substitutions may occur.
12. Changes of Itinerary
Itineraries may change due to:
- Weather
- Safety
- Operational needs
- Local conditions
No compensation applies where changes are beyond our control.
13. Payment Types
Accepted methods include:
- Direct deposit
- Credit card
Details will be provided on your invoice.
14. Industry Accreditation
E4GG Travel operates in accordance with Australian travel laws.
(If you later obtain ATAS accreditation, this clause can be updated.)
15. Acceptance of Risk
Travel involves risk. You accept responsibility for travel decisions and associated risks.
16. Unused Services
No refunds apply for unused services.
17. Flexibility
Travel arrangements may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
18. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory.
You must provide proof before final payment.
Insurance should cover:
- Medical
- Cancellation
- Evacuation
- Repatriation
- Supplier insolvency
18.5 E4GG Travel may assist with insurance claims documentation. An administration fee of $250 may apply if insurance was not purchased through us.
19. Passport, Visa and Health
You are responsible for:
- Passport validity (6 months minimum)
- Visas
- Vaccinations

20. Limitations of Liability
E4GG Travel is not liable for:
- Supplier insolvency
- Weather
- Wildlife sightings
- Personal injury due to inherent risks
- Independent purchases
- Traveller negligence
21. Complaints
Complaints must be reported:
- Immediately during travel, and
- In writing upon return if unresolved.
22. Applicable Law
This contract is governed by the laws of Australia and the State of Queensland.

23. Assignment
You cannot transfer this contract without written permission.
24. Severability
Invalid provisions do not affect the rest of the contract.
25. Variations
Changes must be made in writing.
26. Third Parties
Only contract parties have rights.
27. Communication
E4GG Travel may contact you regarding:
- Bookings
- Surveys
- News
You may unsubscribe anytime.
28. Commissions
E4GG Travel may receive commissions from travel suppliers.

Because we are running:
- Expedition treks (Nepal, Peru)
- Charity travel
- Adventure tourism
You should strongly consider adding an Adventure Activity Waiver clause, which Eclipse’s version is not strong enough for your Amazon, Nepal and high-risk trips.
I can add a fully protective E4GG Adventure Liability Waiver if you’d like — it will protect you properly.
